Admission Requirements

As a LCU student, you can earn your master's degree from the largest private university in the Ukraine from a non-traditional North America University. Following are the admission requirements for LCU. Contact us today about starting your degree program.


Graduate Admission Requirements

To enter a graduate degree program, you must:

• Have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited, or candidate for accreditation, or approved nationally accredited college or university, or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside the United States, and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) as shown on the undergraduate degree posted transcript.
• Provide verification of a minimum of three years of significant full-time, post-high school work experience. Note: A year of business experience is required for the Master in Business Administration degree program.
• Be currently employed. If you are not currently employed, you must have access to an organizational environment that allows you to apply the concepts you learn in our courses.
• Complete all required forms for admission and submit an official undergraduate degree posted transcript.
• Meet all prerequisites as outlined

Master of Business Administration Program

To enter a Master of Business Administration program, you must:

• Have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited, or candidate for accreditation, college or university, or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside the United States, and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) as shown on the undergraduate degree posted transcript. The following programs will accept an undergraduate degree from a nationally accredited college or university: provide verification of a minimum of three years of significant full-time, post-high school work experience.

• Be currently employed. If you are not currently employed, you must have access to an organizational environment that allows you to apply the concepts you learn in our courses. Note: The Master of Business Administration program requires that work experience includes nine months employment in business. Be approved for immigration documentation for school in the Ukraine. Complete all required forms for admission and submit an official undergraduate degree posted transcript.

• Students who do not have a graduate degree in business, management, or administration may be admitted if they meet all requirements, and have completed at least three credit hours in each of the following subjects: Finance for Managerial Decision Making, Human Relations and Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Strategy Formulation and Implementation, and Statistics and Research Methods for Managerial Decisions.


Requirement

Prior educational performance is considered in conjunction with demonstrated proficiency in basic college-level skills to determine admissibility. LCU grants unconditional admission to individuals whose prior educational performance meets the criteria outlined below. Applicants whose prior educational performance does not meet these criteria must complete the basic skills evaluation and demonstrate specific basic skills proficiency levels in order to be granted unconditional admission. Except as noted below, all applicants must complete the basic and prerequisite skills evaluation through standard means prior to starting classes, to determine appropriate initial course placement.


Prior Educational Performance

Applicants for an education online or onsite are accepted if they meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Have earned a qualifying associate degree or higher from a LCU approved post-secondary institution.
• Have completed an appropriate amount of qualifying college-level work at LCU approved post-secondary institutions, with grades of at least C (70%) or a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00.
• Have achieved both of the following conditions while in a U.S. high school:
        a. Class rank at the 50th percentile or above, or a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.70 on a
        4.00 scale, at the end of the junior year or later.
        -and-
        b. An average grade of at least B (80%) in a full-year high school mathematics course at the level of
        Algebra I or above.


Basic and Prerequisite Skills Evaluation

Applicants for an education online or onsite must show evidence basic and prerequisite skills proficiency levels in at least one of the following ways:

• Submit ACT or SAT examination scores deemed appropriate by LCU.

• Attain appropriate scores on LCU administered placement examinations.

• Submit required documentation indicating acceptable grades in qualifying work completed at an approved institution.
